Yoga is my way to check-in. The Physical practice of yoga nudges me to explore my edge (whatever it may be at that moment). It embraces me as I am, with my strengths and my weaknesses. The moments of stillness in my practice allow for my senses, and my mind to open and take in want in what is with no reservations. My practice gives me the space to accept myself as a work in progress.

I completed my formal teacher training at Yoga Works in Larchmont, CA with Natasha Rizopoulos and James Brown in 2006. I bring my experience of practicing yoga for over 28 years and teaching for 17 years. Since then I have continued my education and expanded my knowledge by studying with a variety of yoga teachers and styles (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Iyenga). My approach to teaching is very eclectic, therapeutic, and fun! I focus on the core of yoga (breath, alignment, foundation, and mindfulness) - But allow each student to grow individually and expand beyond their horizons and their comfort zones. My goal for each class is to take one on a journey of self-discovery of mental, physical, and spiritual exploration. Discovering that the practitioner is more than what one thinks, feels, reasons, and beliefs.

I found yoga as a graduate student in 2000. Yoga not only healed me from my running injuries but brought me peace and tranquility in my life. I completed my 200hr teacher training under Tiffany Cruikshank, and continue studies under Shiva Rae, Sianna Sherman, and Janet Stone.
